Cookie policy

What cookies would be used on this website and how to control them.

Placeholder legal content. The wording below was written for a website prototype. It is illustrative only, has not been reviewed by a lawyer, and must be replaced with content approved by the client's legal and privacy teams before any real-world use.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and software development kits. This policy would cover all of them.

What this prototype actually uses

This prototype sets no tracking cookies at all. It uses your browser's local storage for two things only: your cookie preference choice, and whether you have dismissed the announcement bar. Both stay on your device and are never transmitted anywhere.

Categories

Essential. Required for the site to function, including remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics. Would help us understand which pages and tools are used, so we can improve them.

Marketing. Would measure campaign performance and limit repeat messaging.

Personalisation. Would remember preferences such as your country and previously viewed products.

Managing your choices

Select Cookie preferences in the footer to reopen the settings panel at any time. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings, which will reset your choices here.

Third parties

Placeholder. A live policy would list each third-party cookie by name, provider, purpose and duration, generated from an actual cookie audit and kept current.
